Nectr Kombucha has always been about offering a refreshing, flavourful non-alcoholic option — something you can enjoy on the dock, after a hike, at a bonfire, or with dinner without needing alcohol to make it feel special. But even though our kombucha is proudly non-alcoholic, that doesn’t mean it can’t also shine in a cocktail.
In fact, kombucha makes an incredible cocktail mixer.

The natural carbonation, layered flavours, slight acidity, and subtle funk of kombucha pair beautifully with spirits, adding depth and complexity that traditional pop or sugary mixes simply can’t. Whether you’re making a light summer drink, a patio cocktail, or something cozy by the fire, Nectr Kombucha can elevate the experience while still keeping things fresh and balanced.
Here are a few cocktail ideas featuring each of our flavours:
Blueberry Lemon — Blueberry Vodka Smash
Blueberry Lemon pairs perfectly with vodka and fresh mint. Muddle a few blueberries and mint leaves in a glass, add ice and a shot of vodka, then top with Blueberry Lemon Nectr. Bright, refreshing, and perfect for summer evenings.
Cherry Hibiscus — Cherry Bourbon Sour
The rich cherry and floral hibiscus notes work beautifully with bourbon. Combine bourbon, a splash of lemon juice, and top with Cherry Hibiscus Nectr for a smooth, slightly tart cocktail with incredible depth.
Lavender Mojito — Lavender Gin Fizz
Lavender, lime, and mint already make this flavour feel cocktail-ready. Pair it with a botanical gin over ice and garnish with fresh lime for a crisp patio drink that feels straight out of a cocktail lounge.
Ginger — Dark & Stormy Kombucha
Ginger kombucha and dark rum are a natural match. Add dark rum, fresh lime juice, and ice, then top with Ginger Nectr for a bold, spicy cocktail with extra freshness and natural fizz.
Raspberry Lemonade — Raspberry Vodka Collins
This flavour creates an easy, crowd-pleasing cocktail. Mix vodka, fresh raspberries, and a squeeze of lemon, then top with Raspberry Lemonade Nectr for a drink that tastes like summer in a glass.
Hopped Grapefruit — Kombucha Paloma
Hopped Grapefruit practically begs to be paired with tequila. Add tequila, lime juice, ice, and top with Hopped Grapefruit Nectr for a refreshing cocktail that bridges the gap between craft beer and a classic Paloma.
Golden Zest — Spiced Mule
Golden Zest’s ginger, turmeric, and lime profile pairs beautifully with spiced rum or rye whiskey. Serve over ice with a lime wedge for a warm, zesty cocktail with a little kick.
One of the best things about using kombucha in cocktails is flexibility. You can make them strong, light, or somewhere in between. You can also create mocktail versions just as easily — keeping all the flavour and complexity without the alcohol.
At the end of the day, Nectr Kombucha was made to be versatile. Whether you’re drinking it straight from the bottle after a workout, pouring it into a wine glass at dinner, or mixing it into your favourite cocktail on the patio, there’s no wrong way to enjoy it.
