Nectr Kombucha is a small, family-owned brewery based in Haliburton County, Ontario. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Robert and Anna Lowes, Nectr continues to grow as a proudly local brand dedicated to crafting authentic, living kombucha for our community.

In early 2024, we took over Nectr from its original founder — drawn to its values, its reputation for quality, and its mission to create a healthy, refreshing drink made with care. As long-time Haliburton locals raising our family here, it felt like the perfect fit — a way to combine our love for community, wellness, and small business into something that truly represents where we’re from.

Our Philosophy

At Nectr, we believe kombucha should be alive, authentic, and honest.
We stay true to the traditional brewing process — no pasteurizing, no shortcuts, and no artificial flavours. Just naturally fermented tea, real ingredients, and billions of active cultures in every bottle.

We’re proud to brew our kombucha locally at Castle Café & Antiques, where quality, sustainability, and community connection are at the heart of what we do.

You’ll find our kombucha on tap where our brewert is located at Castle Antiques & Cafe, in local shops, hotels, and restaurants across the county, and in the hands of neighbours who’ve supported us from day one.
